Xi Kun Zeng, 60, passed peacefully Sunday (December 10, 2023) at the Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born in Taison, China a son of Mei Juan Chen and the late Rong Wei Zeng, he came to the United States in 1999. He was the husband of Pei Zhen Huang and lived in Cranston.

Mr. Zeng was a chef at the Islander Restaurant for many years before retiring in 2015.

Besides his mother and wife, he leaves 2 sons; Jia Liang (David) Zeng and Jia Hui (Jackie) Zeng both of Cranston, a brother Jim B. Zeng and 2 sisters Yicha Zeng and Man T. Zeng.

His life will be celebrated Saturday (12/16/2023) in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston from 8:00am to 9:15am with a service to follow. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Johnston.
