Josephson, Donald A., (89), of Cranston passed peacefully Sunday, August 28 at the Berkshire Place Nursing Home. Born in Providence, a son of the late Emile and Clara (Allen) Josephson he grew up and lived in Cranston most of his life. He was a graduate of Cranston High School. He was the loving husband of Carolyn R. (Machon) Josephson.
Mr. Josephson was very active with C.L.C.F. sports and was a Korean veteran having served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked at AT&T as a central office foreman for many years before retiring and later in life was a school bus driver in Cranston for over ten years.
Besides his wife he leaves a son Matthew (Lisa) Josephson of Wakefield, two daughters Susan (James) Neary and Caren (Antonio) Almada both of Cranston, six grandchildren Erik and Steven Josephson, Justin and Evan Neary and Marcus and Madison Almada. He was brother of the late Robert and David Josephson.
His burial, with military honors, will be Friday at 12:00pm in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter where the family and friends will meet.
