Vest, Frances M. (Stapleton), 74 of Howey in the Hills, Florida, passed peacefully on Monday, Sept.18, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Raymond V., Sr. and M. Frances (Gallogly) Stapleton. She was the former wife of James Vest of Titusville, FL. She was known by her family and close friends as Frank. Frank attended Rhode Island College before moving to Florida over 50 years ago. She was the owner of Fran Vest Bookkeeping for over 45 years. She leaves a beloved daughter Wendy (James) Hoag of FL, a cherished grandson, Riley Hoag of FL, a brother Jim Stapleton of Cranston, a niece Kendra Stapleton of FL and a Nephew Raymond K. Stapleton of Riverside, RI. She was the sister of the late Raymond V. Stapleton, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, at 6:00pm. Her life will be celebrated with a "Traditional" Irish wake Saturday from 6:30 pm to 8pm in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston.
