Cai Mei Li, 87, of Appleton Street Cranston died peacefully January 14, 2025 at Westview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Warwick. She was the wife of the late Liang Da Li. Born in Taishan, China, a daughter of the late Chang Yi Li. Mrs. Li migrated to the United States in 1996. Once here she focused on obtaining her U.S. citizenship, she became an American citizen in 2012. She resided in Cranston since her arrival. Mrs. Li worked in the Jewelry industry for many years before retiring. Cai cherished spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by two sons, Huan Ming Li, and Ming Can Li, two daughters, Huan Ying Li, and Xiu Ying Chen, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston from 9:00 a.m.-10: 30 a.m. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Cemetery, Johnston.
