Kwok Chun (John) Wong, 74, of Cranston passed peacefully Sunday (5/11/25) in the Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born in Toy San, China, he came to America at an early age and later becoming a US Citizen. He attended RIC College. He was a son of the late Eight Moon (Eddie) Wong and Ying Tung Wong. John was the owner of the Hoy Tin Restaurant in Swansea, MA where they recently celebrated their fiftieth anniversary in business. He is survived by his loving wife Christina (Wai Fong) Wong, a son Benjamin Wong and a daughter Eva Wong, both of Cranston, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his younger brother, Dennis Wong of Pawtucket. His life will be celebrated Friday, 5/16/2025 from 10:00am to 11:30am in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
