Chin, Rickie K., Sr., 74, of Cranston, passed peacefully Sunday (11-5-2023) at RI Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband of Judy (Mui) Chin. Born in Providence, a son of the late Sam Q. and Susan (Ng) Chin. Mr. Chin was the owner of the Jade Dragon Restaurant in Warwick for 29 years until his retirement in 2021. Besides his wife he leaves 2 daughters; Michelle (James) Flanagan of North Providence and Melissa (Andrew) Blood of Norton, MA, a son Rickie K. Chin, Jr. of Reno, NV, 3 brothers; Nickie Chin of Warwick, Stanley (Karen) Chin of Ellicotte City, MD and John Chin of Cranston and 2 grandchildren Riley and Hadley Blood. His life will be celebrated Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private.
